A new belt system has been created to help all students progress through the syllabus at a pace they feel comfortable.Full coloured belts now require a half Kata, which has been introduced to help encourage students who are not fully confident with the full kata to practice in order to achieve belt progression.
Black stripes require the full Kata and is higher than full coloured belts.
As well as the Kata’s there are a number of moves to be performed as in the syllabus.
All students are expected to bring a copy of their syllabus to each lesson.
